My name is Ane Bæk Rose, i'm 18

My biggest inspiration and my forever muse is nature. Among all of nature's wonders, I especially admire its beetles, its mountains, its flowers, its birds, its strength and its calmness. With my art I hope to not only cherish what I love so dearly by copying its shapes, colors and constructions, but also more importantly to challenge nature on creativity. I want to draw the patterns of a beetle's exoskeleton or of a flower petal in ways nature never thought of. Sometimes I think I can succeed with this, but then I look in my book of beetles or in my garden and I realize that nature will always defeat me with its endless portfolio of art.
