Rocco Cardinale was born in 1981 in Taranto, an industrial town in the south of the italian peninsula. He moved to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain, in 2007. Influenced by the mural/graffiti art, the street culture of the skaters and the writers, the underground comic movements and the urban realities, he combines in his style drawings and paintings. Sometimes using scratched but still legible words in his collages full of power and pathos, his art tells us about strong feelings and deep sensations. His work is focused on the modern man condition in the contemporary society. Currently he works in his studio and has solo and group shows all around the world.
