Frank Sebastian Boesgaard Gravesen (born June 11, 1961 in Frederiksberg, Denmark, by a Norwegian mother) is a Danish / Norwegian painter, illustrator and musician. He originally graduated as teacher, but has simultaneously worked as an artist and musician.
His exhibition debut was in the middle 80’s. Frank Sebastian Boesgaard Gravesen or just Gravesen, which is the name he exhibits under, was working as a freelance drawer and illustrator while he studied to become a teacher. Gravesen has never stopped painting. Gravesen made a comic strip about the Pekingese "Ping Pong" with lyricist George Kalkrup and created political cartoons under the name "Fist". Gravesen is the founder of the artist group Credo with artist Flemming Stephansen.
